Gratitude Guide

Gratitude apps shouldn’t be a red badge to clear. They should be a place for you to care about. A place to be reflective. A place to be truly thankful.

Listing three things and leaving is impossible to do here. That’s on purpose.

Why the why matters

Gratitude isn’t about naming three things, it’s thinking and reflecting on the things you’re truly grateful for. The app doesn’t let you just list three things. The app encourages you to actively reflect between each gratitude.

It takes longer so you take longer.

What’s in it

There are prompts that you can ignore. You can change the icon. You can add a picture. There’s a place to type what you’re grateful for and the important bit is the question you’re asked next. Why is this important to you? There’s a calendar and a forgiving streak counter. Everything is synced with iCloud and all the data is yours and yours to take. Export to CSV, JSON, or Markdown.

That and a pretty cool moon phase breathing animation is about it.

A morning, a middle, a night

Gratitude Guide is the night app. There are two others.

You don’t have to use all three. They aren’t a system. They’re three small things for three different kinds of moments.

Start tonight

It’s three things at the end of the day. That’s all. Some nights it will be hard to find three. Find three anyway.
