Gratitude
Gratitude is a daily journaling app that helps you reflect on what you're thankful for. Your privacy is fundamental to how we built this app. We do not collect, track, or share your personal data.
When you use Gratitude, you create journal entries that may include text and photos. This data is stored in your private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service and cached locally on your device for offline access. Only you can access this data through your iCloud account.
We never have access to your journal entries, photos, or any content you create.
With your permission, Gratitude logs a mindful session to Apple Health each time you complete your daily gratitude practice. The app only writes this data; it does not read any of your health information. You can decline this permission during setup and the app will function normally without it.
Gratitude offers an optional purchase to customize the breathing exercise. Transactions are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive or store any payment information.
Gratitude uses Firebase Crashlytics by Google to collect crash reports and non-fatal error logs. This helps us identify and fix stability issues. Crashlytics collects:
This data is sent to Google's servers and retained for 90 days. Crashlytics does not collect your journal entries, photos, or any personal content. No advertising identifiers or tracking data is collected. For details, see Google's Privacy Policy.
Gratitude uses Firebase Analytics by Google to collect anonymous usage data such as when you complete an entry or reach a streak milestone. This helps us understand how the app is used and where to focus improvements. Analytics collects:
No journal text, photo content, personal information, or advertising identifiers are ever included in analytics data. For details, see Google's Privacy Policy.
The only other network communication is with Apple's CloudKit service to sync your journal across your devices.
All local data is removed when you use the "Delete All Gratitudes" option in Settings.

If we update this policy, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
