Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Gratitude ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Gratitude is a daily journaling app for reflecting on what you're thankful for. The App lets you create journal entries, attach photos, and, if you choose, log mindful sessions to Apple Health.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of every journal entry, photograph, and any other content you create in the App. Your content lives in your private iCloud account and on your device. We do not access, view, or claim any rights to it.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose as a personal journaling tool. You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or networks.

In-App Purchases

The App may offer optional in-app purchases handled by Apple through StoreKit. All purchases are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. We do not process payments directly.

iCloud Sync

The App uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your data between your devices. The availability and reliability of iCloud services are governed by Apple's terms. We are not responsible for data loss caused by iCloud service disruptions.

Third-Party Services

The App uses Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics by Google to collect crash reports, diagnostic data, and anonymous usage statistics, so we can keep the App stable and understand how it is used. These services are governed by Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. No personal content is shared with them.

Data Export and Deletion

You may export your data or permanently delete all your data at any time through the App's Settings. Deletion removes data from both your device and iCloud.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brutechild, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The revised effective date will be posted at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Brutechild, LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
